Passengers seat warmer switch not working

What is your question?

Switch for low/high seat warmer in center console area seems to be broken as in not attached properly and always reverts back to the off position. I cannot keep it in low or high heat setting plus the green light that indicates operation does not illuminate even when I press and hold the switch

How long has your 2000 Lexus ES300 had this problem?
