I have to get a boost to crank my car every time I take the hot cable off the car shuts back off and when I take the cables off as well.I just replaced the alternator.
What is your question?
Also when I press the gas all the way to the floor it won't idle up.My radio,heat,or lights are not working either.

you probably FRIED everything on that vehicle from unhooking the POSITIVE battery cable WHILE the vehicle was RUNNING! who told you to do that?somebody that did it in 1974? not on today's computerized vehicles!
