What is your question?
I just replaced the engine with a low milage engine imported from Japan last week. The mechanic delivered the car with the check engine light on, and stated he can figure it out but it could be the knock sensor. After 2 days and total of 10 miles of driving the car would not run meaning it would start, but stalled . I kept my foot on the pedal mostly to get home but when rpm reached 1000 or so it stalled. Took a code reading of 55 and 71. Could you help me fix this because the great mechanic stated NO WARRANTES, so I wonder why!!! Hmmm.

No warranty , even for HIS OWN WORK?? Or was this start/stall an issue BEFORE the engine swap? Speaking of that , why was the engine replaced?? That may also be a clue .......

First allow me to thank you for your time, and apologize for my delay in replying. My son's wedding back east, and I wanted to be with him couple of week. I'm back from New York. To answer your qs. No problem prior, the engine was replaced because a coolant hose came out, and over heated the engine. Although I pulled over right away on the freeway, but it was too late. I did the compression test, and got 90 on 2, and 95 on 5, the other plugs were seized.
