What is your question?
Pre-purchase inspection (done twice) did not reveal this as a problem. New tires were put on the vehicle after the 2nd inspection, so I wonder if there is a balance issue. The light remains on at all times. The online forums have not been very helpful, as the reasons for why this light remains on are all over the map.

Had the same problem at the shop on a 2013 Nissan Juke and it turned out to be 4 tires had just been installed on it also and ONE of the tires was actually smaller in diameter than the other three... Just something to consider. Now the way I found this was using a 'high dollar' scanner while we road tested the vehicle and observing wheel speed data... I highly recommend having your vehicle professionally tested.
Check with dealer, may have warranty... IF not, still may be willing to help you out. Good luck!
Thank you both for your responses. I'm hopeful this will just be a wheel balance situation. I called the dealer (a used dealer BTW) and they are very accommodating, and have the same impression: it's the new wheels. Very much appreciated!!!
I've been in the used car business, that's the only way to do things if you want to 'stay' in the car business! Glad to hear they are willing to help!
