Replace the water pump and thermostat. That's a giving.

You must change the timing belt every 60,000 miles. If you don't just buy another vehicle. Have seen a lot of bad engines in KIA because the customers didn't do what I'm telling you. The age alone mandates the belt changing. Good luck in buying a new vehicle if you don't follow these recommendations.
We usually do, but some don't consider the water pump, until the water pump goes out. Then the price really goes up.
Yeah change everything while your there, I change tensioner pulley too,
the water pump is covered under the power-train warranty until 100k miles and if they change it at 60k miles you only have 12 months or 12k mile so its actually best not to change it until 120k miles when your second timing belt is due
