That’s a good thing actually - it means a trouble code or codes can be gathered using a scan tool or a code reader - the light doesn’t have to be on continuously .. You can go to AutoZone and get the codes read then post the exact code numbers here for more help .. Don’t let the parts store personnel try to give you any repair information - we can do that here - after we get the trouble code numbers.
