I took out the old battery and the and the nut on positive cable was so corroded.When I was trying to get the nut off it snapped off leaving the nut still stuck.How do loosen the nut?

what ever will work.vise grips,channel locks,spray it with wd-40.if needed go to a parts house and buy a new battery terminal if needed also.
