What is your question?
The 2016 Kia Sorento with 98,000 miles was first owned by a rental company for 1 year, 2 months, then owned as a personal auto for 2 years, 5 months. Carfax shows a rear end accident 01/04/2017 with no damage. No maintenance records for second ownership. The car is very clean and looks great, but I'm concerned about the extremely high mileage and what I need to budget for potential high repair costs, such as transmission, etc. It ran fine the few miles I drove it. I'll have a mechanic check it out, but I need to make a decision asap. Any help will be appreciated. Approximately how long could I expect the major items (i.e. transmission, etc.) to last and how costly, on average, might they be. Thanks very, very much. Mildred Crowley

Unfortunately it is impossible to accurately answer your question.. No way to determine what future problems may arise - IF any .. Perhaps you could check out the owners manual for recommended services that will be needed at that particular mileage - here is a link to a free download: https://carmanuals2.com/kia/sorento-2016-owner-s-manual-36479
