What is your question?
My 2013 kia sorento drivers door window went down then blew the 25 amp fuse in the dash. Replaced the fuse now it dose not respond up or down. I remove the motor and manually put window in the up position but as soon as I put the wire pug back on the motor it goes down about 3 inchs and stops. Then will not respond at all.
No. When I plug the motor in it goes bown about 3 inches and stops. But the switches are not plugged in and the information switch is in the off position.
Try resetting the regulator. Connect everything how it should be. Put the key on the on position, with the window switch pull the window up don't let go of the switch for about 3-4 seconds. Let me know how it goes.
I tried that and still having the same problem. That window has the auto switch for the one touch up or down. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.
It shouldn't matter, if everything is ok with the regulator a reset would've work. With the fuse blowing I would check the regulator itself
Is the regulator serviceable? And is it the part where the plug goes. And how do you check it out?
Not really serviceable but you'll check for proper operation. There's a few videos on YouTube on how to do it. Better to see it for yourself than me telling you how.
