I called Kia direct and they said the same thing IT IS NOT NEEDED AND THEY DON'T RECOMMMENED IT! They are now looking in on the matter with the service dep.
Holey smokes ....really! .....the Kia dealer is trying to sell that stuff? I figured you was at some fly by night lube shop.
Ran across this awhile back, same deal @ dealership. Dont remember the details exactly but trying to sell the same service. Told that one same thing. Dont know what became of it...It's just snake oil....imo....On a new car especially!..Glad brenda1968 is looking into it.!!
