What is your question?
I have tried to use the key fob, the outside button and the lock buttons on the door. But it won't let me lock the doors after I start the car to go inside while the car is warming up.

Use the manual sliding lock button. There should be an actual key hidden inside the fob...
I have the same issue but have found that after closing the doors, my key fob will allow me to lock the vehicle. Sometimes it works on the 1st attempt, sometimes on the 2nd. lol. (I have an aftermarket key fob from my remote start install.)
I've tried to lock manually on the doors, but it is like the car is possessed, it keeps unlocking. All I want to do is to be able to start my car, let it warm up while I am in the house or office. And I want to do this without the fear of having my car running without it being locked. Thanks for your suggesting.... is there any other recommendations?
If you don't have an actual metal key to lock it from the outside after starting and closing door...... Enter vehicle from *passenger* side ... start engine & lock doors manually then close passenger door.. or just drive it cold!!
Thanks.... I will give these two things a try.
Well there's got to be a way to lock the car if you are driving down the road!!!!... Hook seat belt or read owners manual...it's got a real key inside the fob, that should do it.... You'll figure it out...
