What is your question?
Twice, after arriving to my destination, when I went to turn the key it won't start and there is a clicking noise. At first I thought it was the battery. I had the battery and alternator checked and they are both in fine working order. Today, while waiting for roadside assistance, on a whim I tried to start it again and it did right away. The battery cables are good and tight. Any suggestions?

Suspect starter motor... Testing needs to be performed to confirm... Complete test of battery, charging system and starter needed... By 'qualified' personnel ..... Parts store employees usually don't meet the requirements... They sell parts!!
Thank you. I've been avoiding having to take it to our mechanic but am to the point I just want it fixed. :)
Yeah, I know whatcha mean .. Sometimes it's just unavoidable and the best thing to do! .. Plus a lot of times it's the cheapest as opposed to buying parts that's not needed.
So, here's what finally happened. My husband called a friend of his (who is a license mechanic) up on Fort Dix. They tested the battery and alternator for close to 30 minutes with different situations such as lights on/off, engine running or not, AC on/off etc. From what they determined, the batter was 3 years old and probably about to eventually just die. So I replaced it because I'd rather be proactive and have peace of mind. I want to thank you for all your input however. I greatly appreciate it. :)
