register for free on kiatechinfo.com (invaluable for working on your Sorento). It is a kia website. On the top headings, click on Service Materials, then click on campaign. Enter your vehicle info such as model, year, engine, ect. You will see two campaigns, one for the engine and one for fuel system. Click on fuel system and it will give you step by step directions with pictures to accomplish this task. Check out the engine service campaign and replace your crankshaft pulley bolt if it hasn't been done yet (If it is gold tone, it hasn't). If it if galvanized gray color, you're fine. $9.50 part will save your big headaches later (trust me). Also if you don't have the tool to hold the crankshaft pulley in place while removing the bolt, I've put a strong bolt through a length of chain and into one of the holes on the crankshaft pulley and attached the other end of the chain to the frame. This held the pulley in place while I removed the bolt or torqued the new one to 130 ft lbs.
