My bolt for balancer broke inside crankshaft. Cant drill out so have to change crankshaft.

Didnt realize they had a recall and a class action suite for this vary problem. Pushrod is right. Get ahold of kia dealer or kia motor corp. They have to fix it. They even had to pay people back that had already payed for such repairs.
Firstly - You need to contact Kia dealer concerning recall repair for broken crank balancer bolt .. Call Kia Motor Corp if necessary! Secondly - The bolt CAN be drilled out using a cobalt drill bit and some auto repair savvy! Trying to remove the crankshaft without first removing the engine is not conducive to common sense!
