Cat monitor will not set. Replaced cat about a month ago.

I have a 2008 Kia rondo V6 that we can not get the cat monitor to set on. We replaced the cat(aftermarket part) about a month ago and had an app't for inspection on monday. On sunday my battery died, which caused comp to reset. All monitors have finally set except the cat and evap. Evap will not set, and we know it does not have to for inspection, but cat does have to. We have driven over 300 miles and done all the drive cycles we have found online, and still can not get it to set. Any help? Thank you!
