Dec'15 CRAIN KIA (AR) replaced ONE ignition coil (1of3)@$320. (no deductble)much higher$ than I see listed here. Any way of telling when the other 2coils same? like milage-wise. Its only @69,400mi.

no not really..other 3 may never go bad or maybe it/they will? there are FOUR COILS,NOT JUST THREE(one for each cylinder)? you can buy yourself for around $85.00 and put on yourself to save $$$$...don't know why everyone goes to the DEALER? you could have bought ALL FOUR coils for what you paid them for ONE??? as far as the lights go..is a fuse blown? are the bulbs bad(broken filament)? Possible brake light switch has failed? 3rd brake light is on a different circuit than the 2 rear ones.
You should have THREE brake lights on that car, left , right , and 'high-mount' (third brake) . Is the 'high-mount/third brake light working?? IF YES , than it is not the switch , I would TEST the bulbs and sockets first , then start checking the rest of the circuit.
