What could be wrong with my 2009 Kia Rio? Under 80,000 miles.

I recently replaced the evap purge valve and I'm still having the same issues but without a check engine light on. When I would fill up with gas my car wouldn't want to start so I started leaving my car on to fill up. The car would run rough in idle while filling it up and then run fine after driving a few seconds. But now my car will idle rough as soon as I remove the gas cap and the car will die when I start adding the gas. To start it, I have to floor the accelerator for a few seconds immediately after turning the key over or it dies and then quickly throw it into drive and go or it will die. Once I drive for a few seconds it runs fine only having problems when filing my tank. I am not over filling my tank.
