What is your question?
It says started pretty recently when I exit my car I go to grab the door to closet and I get a horrible shot at first I thought it was just you know I think that would happen occasionally but now it happens every single time I close the door and it does hurt I am wondering if this is something mechanically wrong with the car a recall or if it is something that could be mechanically fixed any advice would be appreciated thank you
What makes this problem better or worse?
Noting it is bad no matter what I do
How long has your 2014 Kia Optima had this problem?

That IS static electricity - which is present in all vehicles - some are worse that others due to differential interior materials in combination with type of clothing being worn by the occupants. Also more pronounced in low humidity conditions. When exiting vehicle - grasp door on a metal surface and keep hold until ready to close door = no more static shock! Nothing is wrong with the automobile.
As an added note: Hybrid vehicles often are equipped with tires that have really low rolling resistance, to aid in increased fuel economy. This increases the likelihood of vehicle occupants having the static electricity shock happen.
Google > static shock from car - for more information.
Thanks for your feedback i was thinking the same thing static electricity but my last car I never got shocks or the occasional one this feels really powerful like a lot of electricity problem so I was concerned because it's a hybrid mabie a short in the battery or something
That’s certainly understandable - grab tightly onto metal door frame / part and do not let go until you get out of vehicle and close the door - it’s inconvenient I know but you will not get shocked that way. ALL vehicles will exhibit this ‘trait’ from time to time. Happy Easter.
Ok i will try that thanks again for the feedback and happy Easter to you to
