How much for the resealing of timing cover?

Just recently replaced several belts on my car at KIA dealership. 1) V-Ribbed Belt #2G660 1) V-Ribbed Belt #2G652 1) HSG belt 1) Water pump belt At the end of this service, they handed me an estimate for over $1000 to reseal the timing cover. I cannot locate any information on the net with respect to specific costs and would appreciate any help you can extend with respect to this issue. Thank you.
