Transmision don't shift and don't start be cause it's on drive
Dislodged or broken shifter cable is the most likely suspect.. Needs to be inspected to determine! Raise hood and have helper move shifter back and forth... See anything moving .. linkage at the transmission?.. Get a car savvy buddy to help you out... Note: Good idea when parking on a hill to apply the park brake *before* shifting into park, that helps to keep pressure off of shift linkage and allows for easier shift from park on next trip, plus it's less stress on shifter components! .. Good luck!
Yes, even If I put it on parking, the car still keep rolling as in drive. Also when I put it on reverse, it only goes forward.
