Why am I going threw so many alternators??

I'm the only one that works on it I cleaned every surface to make sure its getting good ground I took it to auto zone and they tested it with their machine told me alt was good had me kill car tested batt good had me start car and tested it again and alt failed

So they replaced the alt, and it's fixed now? good.
