2015 Jeep wrangler. after rain water driver/passenger floorboard?

I'm test driving this jeep. Mechanic passed all pre-purchase inspection. It wasn't raining at the time. After rain last night and today the carpet is wet on both driver and passenger side under floor board. What could it be? Dealership exchanged the 2015 hardtop with a 2013 soft top. I wanted soft top.
