We installed the right front axle on a wranger limited series 44.

What is your question?

After installing the axle, we went to start the jeep and the starter made a wierd banging noise. We bought a new starter and the noise is the same. Sounds like the starter is hitting the flywheel. We did not have this problem before installing the axle. Can't see how this affects the flywheel or the starter. Help. I am out of money and do not know what to do.

How long has your 2008 Jeep Wrangler had this problem?

constant since installing the axle. It did start one time but the engine lights were flashing. We shut the jeep off and tried to restart.But could not start.
