What is your question?
The horn blew on its own in the middle of the night, then quit working, two days ago, tonight the ESP/BAS light and traction control symbol came on and stayed on. Could these be related, and due to clock spring. Needing fixed ASAP due to being time for inspection and registration.
How long has your 2008 Jeep Wrangler had this problem?
Two days

FYI - Clock spring not only transfers the horn circuit from steering wheel to steering column - it is also the steering angle sensor - thus the reason the other system indicator lights are on. Have the clock spring replaced... Happy motoring!
Will it be safe to drive until then, I can’t get fixed till next week.
Also, thank you for your reply, do you have any idea what the cost for replacing clock spring would be, I’m in Texas just outside Ft Worth. Thanks again.
Well now the lights are off, but my horns still not working. Also I noticed a button for the ESP, if I push it the symbol light comes on, does that mean it’s on or off. I’m sorry I sound dumb, but I know nothing about cars, and this is my sons jeep, but he’s 21 and knows less than me.
The only additional recommendation I can make is to contact your local auto repair facility for *hands-on* testing - by qualified personnel. The posted information in the original question is indicative of a failed clock spring - however without personally testing the failure - can’t be certain.
