There are many possibilities as to why your Jeep will not accelerate. First we would need to determine if the engine is revving up when you press the accelerator. Once we know that, we can then narrow down the possibilities of components that need to be tested. We at E&J Auto Service have all the equipment and knowledge necessary to determine the exact cause of your vehicle's concern. Please call me at 773-725-9414 and I can help you arrange getting your vehicle to our shop to figure out exactly what you need.
I agree with E&J Auto Service as well when it comes to having a number of things that can cause the issue you are experiencing. I would also encourage you depending on your mileage to contact your dealer with the VIN available to see if there might be still warranty on this vehicle. If it isn't something that can be covered, we are more than capable of diagnosing and fixing the problem for you. We offer a 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty with all our work, and that is backed with a nationwide warranty. Please give us a call at 847-352-2886 and ask for Mike or Scott. We are located in Schaumburg Illinois at 503 Lunt Ave. Thank you and good luck!
