I have read over the "Jeep Liberty Power Window Motor May Fail Due to Regulator Assembly" problem page. It states that the regulator fails in the 2002-2012 models. However, I noticed (on multiple forums) that the complaints dropped off after 2007. Jeep redesigned the 2008 Jeep Liberty. Did the redesign address the window regulator? Is the window regulator the same in 2008-2012 as it was in 2002-2007?

The design has indeed been changed, now whether the failure rate has or not is TBD!!
For me, it's not TBD. I've owned a 2008 Liberty (1Owner, mechanic verified 47,500 miles) for 3 hours now, and the left rear window is stuck open 6 inches. Am I having buyer's remorse? You betcha!!!!!!!!
