Transfer Case Cable And Shifter Replacement Labor Cost

Hi, just was wondering how much would an ideal estimate for the labor on changing the shifter and cable connected to my 2003 jeep liberty transfer case should cost? Dealership already took a great amount of running me $300 for the part, so just wanted to know a rough cost for labor? Or if possible i could just change it myself?
