speedometer is not working, how to fix?

abs is not on but engine light is on

Scan test required for trouble code gathering - then post code here for more help. Parts stores can read codes but cannot do scan test.. Code number is all I need for now.. This is caused by one of two sensors - I need code number to determine.

codes are po500,1698,1687

Sensor located on rear differential is suspect - have seen wiring damaged by park brake cable - closely examine wires and connector - if ok - replace sensor. Thus sensor is located on the top of differential.

Hey, I'm having the same issue. P0500 was the code. Replace the wire harness and speed sensor, and tested for power with my multimeter. The wires are good, and power is getting to the new speed sensor, but the speedometer still isn't working, and the engine light is still on. Any suggestions?
