What is your question?
I recently had my starter burn up because it stayed engaged. I replaced the starter. The new starter started the jeep, but stayed engaged. I pulled the starter relay and it quit. I bought a new relay and am still having the same problem. At this point, I am completely stumped.Any suggestions?

Check the starter wire, smaller wire to the solenoid. Make sure it's not shorted to power between the ignition switch through the neutral safety switch, then to the relay.
I didn't notice any obvious signs of a short. There is an aftermarket remote start installed in this vehicle. I was thinking that may be the source. Possibly the ignition switch? I'm not sure.
It would need to be tested to verify with electrical testing equip. Maybe disconnect the remote start to verify as well. Just a thought.
Well I changed the ignition switch and put a new starter on. Same problem. I ungrounded the remote start. Problem solved. About an hour later I went to start it and nothing. I then completely removed the remote start and still nothing.
