What is your question?
Just bought it a month ago. It has 10000 miles on it. I was running it only on Friday nights. Every week it started until last Friday. I did not start it a week ago on that Friday, so it sat 2 weeks not running. Would not start. Battery was dead. Before determining battery was dead, dash said fob not detected. I tried starting by touching fob to starter button as instructed in manual. Did not start. Friend jumped it and we were good to go. Drove it 7 miles. Started it again the last 2 days with no problems but I am worried about leaving it sitting for a long period of time. Battery should not be that weak because it is not that old. Dealer said 4 computers in the vehicle run constantly so battery could be steadily draining. He said that I should not let it sit that long. That's crazy. This is a back-up vehicle for our family. I should not have to start it every few days to avoid the problem again. Has others had this problem

Well today’s vehicles certainly have more gadgets that will definitely drain the battery - however there could possibly be an additional parasitic load that is contributing to this problem. It is also quite possible the battery is simply failing and in need of replacement - it happens! Only via *hands-on* testing can the answer to your concern be discovered. Lots of people use a battery maintaining device such as a Battery Tender®️ when the vehicle will be parked for an extended period of time.
I’ve installed brand new batteries that were defective.. Simply put - if the discharge rate & time is always greater than the recharge rate & time - the battery is going to go dead ..
