What is your question?
So my actuator door that directs the air from floorboards to upper vents is failing so I unplugged it since I generally keep it on upper vents in the summer time and notice that when I am stationary with my Jeep running there is a pooling of water under the Jeep where it would normally be very little. I plugged in back in and there is still a large amount of condensated water.
What makes this problem better or worse?
I’m a safety auditor and travel a lot so I sit in my car a lot finishing up my reports so turning the air completely off what makes the problem better but I can’t sit in the Jeep in this heat with out air
How long has your 2014 Jeep Compass had this problem?
1 day for the water pooling but actuator has been defect since I purchased last October but dealership is not accommodating unless I pay a $500 service fee upfront

Ambient temperatures also effect the amount of condensation discharge from a/c drain. Sitting in same spot with a/c on will indeed deposit a ‘large amount‘ of clear water onto ground.. That’s normal. As long as there are no other related problems - no worries!
