Should be fairly straight forward, remove lens and access bulb. If cannot do from outside then will have to remove gate inner cover(s) and access.
License Lamp replacement: Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Reach under the liftgate handle and light bar unit to access and depress the latch tab on the outboard side of the license plate lamp lens toward the lens. Pull the outboard side of the lens downward far enough to disengage the two tabs on the inboard side of the lens from the lamp housing. . Remove the lens from under the handle and light bar. Interior Liftgate Courtesy Lamp: . Remove the trim from the liftgate inner panel. Pull the trim away from the liftgate inner panel far enough to access and disconnect the wire harness connector from the back of the liftgate lamp housing. From the back of the trim panel, compress the latch features on the outside of the lamp housing and push the lamp out through the mounting hole toward the face of the panel. Remove the liftgate lamp from the vehicle. Using a small thin-bladed screwdriver, gently pry the latch features of the lamp lens away from the lamp housing and remove the lens from the housing. Pull the base of the bulb straight out of the bulb holder within the lamp housing. Firmly grasp and pull the bulb straight out of the socket in the outboard side of the lamp housing.
