Mechanic said I need a new engin

A few months ago it overheated that's when the hoses and radiator cap were replaced but this time I had no warning. Everything was running fine. I'm afraid that I will spend money on a new engine and it will happen again. If no lights come on I won't know there is a problem.

Would really like to but I bought it used and still have about 7000 to pay on it

well,if that's the case,then i would get other opinions.

Put a new motor in, but had a different person install for 1800 and returned the cor. Total cost was around 4000. It pays to shop around. But it did take 6 weeks instead of just one, and I had to call him several times to check on the progress.

so all is good now?

glad to hear that. you don't have to tell me about shopping around. i'm a coupon clipper! people look at me in the grocery store and say,there comes that crazy --- "ole high school boy wanna be" with his books? they can say what they want to but,just don't get in line behind me when i'm checking out,we gonna be there a while, scanning coupons! definition of boy is more than 50 and less than 100,in NC Happy Motoring!
