Can the heater core leak for many years cause manifold oroblem?

don't see any reports about the heater core leaking,although i do see around 25 reports of the manifold problem...A ticking type noise may be noted from the engine area due to an exhaust manifold that has cracked where the pipes are welded; cracked manifolds should be replaced.you can read about it by clicking on Problems on this page...
