emergency hand brake stuck

Hello, the hand brake is under extreme tension if you cannot get the button to press to disengage the ratcheting effect of the hand brake mechanism. There is no way to manually release the brake, get some local assistance to try and help you out, and if nothing else, you'll have to have your vehicle towed into a shop to have it looked at.

Is it possible you’re not lifting the lever enough to allow the release button to be depressed? It is rather unusual for the lever mechanism to fail - but is possible I suppose. Knowledgeable personnel should be able to release the ratcheting locking pawl manually. Good luck
