does the tranny have to be removed to install a new tranny dip stick housing tube o ring on my 1989 jaguar xjs v12 some say yes and some say no. Please email me if you know the answer. thanks
I did one some years back and I think I was able to remove the tube retainer bolt - lift the tube up enough to install the o-ring - then of course put everything back in place..
