The radio code wont work. I have the code but it just tells me to wait.

Are you the original owner? Bring car and card to Jaguar dealership and confirm that it has not been changed at some point , despite the 'card' you have. See it a lot with Honda , warranty replacement and they don't change the code sticker or card!
