Press G-pedal car in motion gives a whistling noise. Foot of pedal noise stops.

When I press the gas pedal and drive to a cruising speed, I can hear a whistling/winning sound from the car. The sound continues as long as my foot is on the pedal. When I take my foot of the gas pedal the noise stops. This happens all the time.
