Even if you knew where this leak is at, can you fix it where it is parked now? Just saying... maybe you need to have a mobile tech come look at it., or have it towed to a repair shop! We cant see your engine and it's way to many possibilities to venture a guess, which would be the wrong one every time anyway!
I had the same leak, thought it was coming from the water pump inside the timing cover. Turned out that there are smaller coolant hoses that loop up from the head underneath the intake manifold. Went through a lot of trouble before finding it, I used a bunch of stop leak against my better judgement to get me by but don't do it. No stop leak can stop a hose leak. When mine leaked the coolant ran down the front of the engine and mostly on the alternator. Hope this helps.
I'll probably load up with jugs of water but it's gonna be annoying to only be able to get half a mile before filling up again
That bad huh... maybe a busted upper radiator hose, you can prob. handle that... cant really say for sure but have a look at if after you fill it up... And good luck!
I just replaced hoses and can't see from up top where the water is coming from I looked underneath and it literally looked like the alternator was leaking coolant I'm willing to rig it to get it going being that this car is a project of mine I will probably remove the hood and strap it to the roof I have an inverter that could power a blower too
Well that pretty much confirms it's not a diy/where it is fix, so i think you are doing the best thing! Shop can do a pressure test, if needed, to find the leak. Likely a water pump issue but as stated, can not say for sure!
