Where is the "oil pipe" on a 3.2L V6 ?? Found a sketchy diagram listed it as part#4 in / around oil pump / oil pickup tube..Yet a can't find the "oil pipe" for sale..and most other diagrams omitted the "Oil pipe"Does a 2003 Rodeo LS 3.2L V6 have a "Oil pipe",if so how would one go about replacing it..paying $1500 to a shop is out of the question, engine has 123,000 miles on it..

Go to the dealer they'll show you the diagram just point out the part, sound like a dealer part either way.
No such part as an "oil pipe"... Get someone at that shop to write down the correct name of the part in question OR go to another shop for diagnosis! .. Then we can help you out..
1st like to thank everyone that responded to my question..Thanks.. 2nd upon further investigation the part in question is indeed called "oil pipe " it feeds oil from the oil pump to the oil gallery.. according to the diagrams at the dealership..part # (not given)..just "oil pipe and O ring" it bolts to the oil gallery..it's a part that doesn't go bad so I'm assuming the O ring falled..or a misdiagnosed by the shop an oil pump leak..is most likely..
So I assume the oil pan has been removed to inspect this part (?)... Without a part number, how can the part be ordered//obtained ? .. Just trying to clarify for other readers/owners that may have same problem.
It seems to be the case..or take the oil pump off ,and maybe gain access to it..which makes me wonder, how could it be the cause of the oil leak ,if it's inside the oil pan ..almost like if the oil pickup tube was leaking..how would one see the leak..unless part of the "oil pipe" was exposed..but I can't see it..because it's behind the oil pump..if I'm going that far in the rabbit hole..might as well replace the oil pump, water pump , and timing belt , and any other inexpensive part in that area..just to be safe, and use my time as efficiently as possible..
Now you're talking... Good luck with it, reply back if needed, we'll try to help! .. I'm thinking it's going to be a gasket or seal at the pump itself, pretty sure that can be fixed 'externally.. Pump bolts to the front of engine and is operated by the crankshaft.. (Best I can remember)
