2006 Isuzu Ascended. Reverse lights come on when in drive,while driving. I got pulled over for this. Anybody have an idea why they come on when in drive? Thanks for your time.,

*IF* the reverse lights turn off when shifted into park - that about narrows it down to the park / neutral switch - which is also the reverse light switch.
*IF* reverses lights remain on anytime the key is on - there is a short to battery power - Hands- on inspection by qualified personnel will be required either way.
