What is wrong when I start my car, then start driving. I hear rushing water though the pipes.

Because it IS water/coolant running through the pipes/heater core!!... Check coolant level, with engine cool, if that's ok... No worries!! I hear it on many vehicles from time to time... Including my own!!....& I've been in many vehicles over the 'years' BTW!
