Headlight not working, replaced bulb, dealer says replace ballast $900. Really?

that's just the price you have to pay.kinda like working on a Mercedes,very costly.you can get a ballast online for around $100.00 on E-bay.you can also get used ones(OEM) for around 1/2 that price on E-bay.why not a used ballast THAT WORKS FOR $60.00,you have a used car? put it on yourself,4 screws,one electrical connector!
