it doesnt misfire often, but when it does it runs rough and the gas mileage is less even when it isnt riding rough or making the service engine light blink,

Cylinder #1 is right front.. If you have been driving it with that light blinking or flashing,then you are probably going to be putting more than just a coil on it. sounds like you have a random cylinder misfire or multiple cylinder misfire and if so,then it's very possible that raw fuel is being dumped down the exhaust manifold and will DESTROY a Catalytic Converter(s) in no time,and depending on if it's 2WD or 4WD,add $1000.00-$2000.00 extra...
