What is your question?
So I came out to the car yesterday morning and noticed the rear left tire had went flat overnight. I put some water and dish soap over the tire and discovered a small hole. I bought a tire repair kit, however, the issue I'm having is that because it's a rear tire and I can't turn it, I'm having trouble being able to get enough torque to be able to get the split eye needle with the repair insert into the tire. The initial rasp goes in no problem and fills the hole and stops the air coming out, however, I just can't get the needle in at all afterwards. Any advice on a better way to try inserting it?

Move the ‘vehicle’ so the tire injury is positioned in a location that allows you to use more force.. Probably at the 4 o’clock position. Ultimately the tire / wheel should be removed for repair. Even better is have tire shop dismount tire and install repair patch from inside.
