Every time I go to the gas station to fill my car as soon as I insert the nozzle into the gas tank, the pump starts clicking like its full; when in fact the tank is empty. I never end up getting my tank full because this is so frustrating.
What is your question?
What could be causing this. Some type of sensor maybe. I've had the tank scoped and the repair shop said that everything looked clear. It happens every time I get gas, not always at the same amount, but every time. Sunday I was able to put $12 in there before it started clicking.

Before this started the pump didn't click until the tank was getting full.
I didn't start having this problem at the gas tank until an ex poured anti-freeze down it. That is when the problems with the clicking started. But I had the fuel line bled as soon as it happened and I had my gas tank treated. It is just so frustrating to get gas now. When it starts clicking i'll ease the nozzle out a little so that I can put in a little more gas.

well, that ain't even funny!.. i believe you are having a problem with the canister vent valve sticking,or maybe one of the evap hoses is clogged.
Thank you so much for telling me this. I'll take it back to the shop and have them check these specific things.
you're welcome.
