Doors are locked, engine is off, car is parked. Come to the car in a few days — all four windows are rolled down automatically. Doors are still locked; Big problem - can't leave the car on the street for security reasons. Please assist. Best regards, Val
How long has your 2013 INFINITI G37 had this problem?
A few times

With all windows up and doors locked - while in the 'vicinity' of the vehicle - pass and hold unlock button for 3 seconds - see what happens.
2 possible things will open your car windows : 1 : If you push and hold your remote unlocked bottom or if you have the remote inside your pocket and accidentally you push on the unlocked bottom. 2 : If you have muffler leaks to certain leave and smoke goes in to your vents to the car enteriar your safety sensor features will open all your windows for safety , so check your exhaust system for any leaks .
â–ªï¸ Press and hold down the unlock button on the *remote* â–ªï¸
Pushrod, Thanks for respond; to follow your advice — all windows would go down after holding the button for more than 3 sec. But this is not the point: I need to find a solution for windows NOT rolling down by itself while a car is parked and doors are locked. Thank you so much anyway.
Ok - simply make sure the remote is in a protected place so the unlock button does NOT get *depressed inadvertently* ... The remote has a wide range of signal strength. (This same issue is frequently discussed here on this site - and at the shop)
Thanks, I got it. Remote was in protected place all the time — no one pushed the Unlock button- guaranteed. Still I have no solution why this happened a few times — the last time after batteries were replaced in both remotes. I appreciate your spending time!
I’m thinking this *auto open* feature can be ‘disabled’ by Infiniti dealer via software programming. Another thing you could try is removing batteries from both remotes - IF that eliminates this problem - one of the remotes is obviously the culprit .. From that point simply put battery back in one remote at a time to reveal the ‘defective’ remote. Good luck with it!
