I just googled "2017 hyundai Tucson dimmer switch" and found many pictures of it.Go ahead and do it so you can find it in your car.Let us know.Thank you.
It’s in the manual as an optional switch so I think it’s becuase I have a lower tier model
Have to agree with pushrod,do not remember a car without a dimmer device, but if the manual lists it as optional it probably is.I would think that there is a plug in the harness where you could easily install an original "optional" switch without spending a lot.Send us the VIN of your car and we will research it.

My car honestly doesn’t have that button, If I could upload pictures I would show you
That’s certainly odd - run it by the dealer for assistance is all I know to do .. There ‘IS’ a dash illumination dimmer - *somewhere* ... Good luck!

There ‘IS’ an operators dimmer switch on the vehicle ... You just haven’t found it yet! The option is how bright / dim the operator wants the dash lights to be.
1-5 in the cars manual I took out the car says “8. Instrument panel illumatuon control switch*†“ * : If equipped†Thanks for you help but I just don’t have it
I’ve been doing auto repair ... forever .. Never have seen or heard tell of a vehicle ‘without’ a dash illumination dimmer - This is a first.. However > if it ain’t got one - it ain’t got one! Personally - I would have to contact Hyundai Motors - that’s a safety hazard as I see it!
I’m honestly surprised too, next time I service I’ll ask them if they can at least turn it down for me
Good luck with it!
