What is your question?
I am trying to get a harmonic balencer off in my 06 hyundai tuscon. No matter what I do the trimming gear and belt come out with it. I can't use a normal duck foot puller so I've used a 3 jaw puller and that brings it out maybe 2 inches but it starts to pull the gear out behind it.

Your puller must be gripping the timing belt drive gear as well.. I don’t see an engine size but for either the 4cyl or the V/6 the balancer should drop on the ground IF you’re actually moving it out that far! ... The center hub isn’t but 1 inch thick where it fits onto the crankshaft.. Don’t have any additional suggestions other than *hands-on* assistance.
Thank you for your advice. I figured out there is a roll pin of sorts on the crankshaft sprocket that fits into the balencer. On mine it was rusted on some how. But nothing i read said anything about that pin even when I talked to the hyundai guys at a local dealership they said it should just wiggle off
That’s the locator pin for the balancer - make SURE you install a NEW revised crank bolt and torque it to proper specifications.. Crankshaft damage will occur if this is not done.. Do not try to re-use the old crank balancer retaining bolt!
