Change battery car was dead for about 10 days

Now as I stop the car idling starts reverting fast up to 3 / then stalls It starts back up I only put about 7 miles since installing new battery.. It is very scary and I am alone dealing w serious illness please should I leave my car running in driveway for about an hour
